I use Andy Howard Pest Control. He has wonderfully cheesy "kill your bugs" commercials but his crew in South Austin is awesome.

I would not recommend ABC, I did tell my kids to use them and they haven't been good at all.

They bouught a home off Samm Bass rd. 2.25 acres and have them out over and over for bug problems. The kids have seen 2 scorpions this week alone in their bed!!!! and 5 total since they moved in - in January 11th . They constantly see spiders, ants, etc. ABC promised them that if they sprayed 10 feet around their property, they gauranteed NO BUGS. I was there one day when the bug guy came out for the third time, my daughter n law was asking him why are we seeing bugs, he had and attitude and said well you live in the country. It was all I could do to keep my month shut. My kids also hired a company to seal up their home so no bugs can get in. What more can they do really.

I just wanted to FYI others, you may not have had any problems with them, but my kids did and yes they're pricy too on top of everything else. Just paying it forward because I have gotten lots of helpful info off city-data, thank you.

Debbie...

Cannot recommend Edge based on their absolute flooding of our neighborhood with 'sales' people...knocking and ringing repeatedly, ignoring "No Soliciting" signs next to doorbells and continuing to spout a sales pitch after a homeowner has politely declined. Our message boards have many posts over the past three weeks about negative reactions to Edge. Same thing happened last May. Guess they break in a new crop of students getting out of school each spring.
