Default Aldi Article Indicates It will Come to San Antonio

Aldi recently announced that it will be building a distribution center in Rosenberg, TX. That fits in line with their map showing that there will be a Houston district which will include San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi, and El Paso (ALDI : Locations). The newspaper in Rosenberg published an article about the new distribution center (ALDI to build distribution center in Rosenberg | Fort Bend Southwest Star Newspaper). The last sentence in the sixth paragraph states: "The company has plans to expand into the San Antonio market."

Default Aldi convert

we just shopped at Aldi in Temple,TX. I am hugley impressed at the prices plus they have gluten free
Products for cheaper than i have ever seen. The loaf bread feels like "real" bread too. We heard
They will build in pflugerville in the next few years. Until then we will continue to drive from austin to temple
As we saved $275/month from what we spend at HEB for a month down the street.

Aldi is a cool alternative option (we had handfuls and handfuls of grocery stores in Chicago metro) but it's not somewhere you can get all your groceries from! But it is a good change up like I said.

We went to the Temple one recently as we were going on I35. As a European, I've used Aldi/Lidl for years for certain products.

They had a great range of German christmas goodies and chocolates (Niederegge marzipan) at much, much lower prices than TJ's.

Ick, I am glad we do not have Aldi in Austin but considering that Trader Joe's is expanding & they're owned by the same company I wouldn't be surprised to see it eventually

Aldi makes you pay to use a shopping cart, the produce is never high quality & their stores carry a really odd basket of goods so there's a high probability that you can't check all the items off your shopping list

Yes it is ridiculously cheap but unless I had to put my family on an uber-budget, I would not shop there

They're not the same company, they're two different companies that came from the same family originally.

You don't pay to use a cart, it's a deposit you get back.

Aldi grocery store: best in America, related to Trader Joe’s.
