I stop at every convenient store, gas station, and quicky mart and can't find them. I need a UFO bad. If you come across a UFO would you please post the locale. If you eat one you'll understand my obsession. Thank you.

North Star makes them.

I miss "It's It!" ice cream bars from CA. Sort of the same thing as a UFO.

7 Eleven Big Wheels! Shame on 7 Eleven for discontinuing them.

If you want something similar, try CoolHaus in the food trailer park at 6th and Waller.

If you're really serious about finding out where they're sold in Austin, go to their website and there is usually a search area that will say something like 'find store locations' or something similar.

UFO is an old ice cream and cookie treat, a knockoff of the IT'S-IT from San Francisco, and was unavailable for years until the brand was acquired and relaunched by Northstar Frozen Treats in St. Louis.

Northstar has a website that might have been amusing in 1990, but it's hopelessly dated now, and it has no store locator.

IT'S-IT, by comparison, has both a store locator and online ordering, so knock yourself out.

Speaking of 7 Eleven, they bought out the TETCO family of gas station/convenience stores a while back, unfortunately eliminating the 'customer loyalty' points program that TETCO had in place . They have maintained their reasonable pricing for top-tier Chevron petrol, thank goodness.

Just a heads up that 7 Eleven products may be available through former TETCO locations.

At $87 a box ($20 for a case and $67 for overnite shipping), I'll just hold out until my next visit to CA some day...

I too love UFOs. I last saw them in Houston about five years ago.
