TonyBinCO is on a distinguished road
If your skills are good and you want to skip the school thing, just get an internship. Offshoring is a real issue in IT today, but normally only the larger corporations can really make it work. I manage a team that has people from around the globe and our target is to be 70% offshore and 30% US based and we're within a few points. You indicate you want to stay at a small shop and there's plenty of that work to go around.

Come on down.

I was hoping ACC had programming classes. I have a class called Object Oriented Programming with UML now and next semester will have OO Systems Analysis. I'm one of those people who likes to jump in and plan as I go along so it is good practice for me to do planning ahead of time. Not as much fun as doing things on the fly, but more efficient (i suppose...).
