Default Birthday Suggestions: Around Steiner/Lakeway

Any ideas for a reasonably priced birthday party for our soon-to-be 7 year old girl?

I know there was a thread going around awhile back about good places --
my husband ixnayed Main Event. So...I'm thinking Flipnastics? Anyone have any good ideas/parties they've been to?

Our son's birthday was so easy to put together in September: pool party!
Our daughter's birthday is toward the end of January....

Thanks so much!

January is risky for an outdoor bday party. For an indoor option, this is a good place in Lakeline Mall:

Sock-Hop.com

Our kids (6 and 4) like that place very much..

An Abrakadoodle (art) party at your house or at the Steiner clubhouse would be fun for a girl.

You could do a sportball party at the Steiner clubhouse - I went to one there a year ago and it was really fun. You could do a dress up/princess party at Crew Cuts and Pigtails which just opened at 2222 in front of River Place. It's a kids haircut place but they have a very cool party room.

There's always Chuck E Cheese at Mopac and 360, the Dino Pit at Zilker Park, Pump It Up off 183. Good luck.
