Zyrtec by it self is only an antihistamine,Cetrizine HCI 10 mg. Noting else, it does NOT relieve all of the allergy symptoms. In addition some people are allergic to it, it is not beneficial for everyone.

Zyrtec does nothing for me. Allegra is much better. And that pesky -D can cause lots of issues for unsuspecting people. Like rapid heart rate. :/ Not pleasant.

Oh yes, Allegra-D severely screwed me up. Palpitations, sweating, crazy insomnia (I'm talking 2-3 hours of sleep on a good night ), jittery nerves and just a completely strung-out feeling. Never again.

Yeah, me too. I can't take any of the D stuff. I have to stick with the regular Zyrtec, allegra or Claritin. Otherwise I get jittery and feel like running laps around the house!
