I think I posted this in the wrong place so here I am again. I'm wondering if any have comments on the 78745 Zip along Banister south. What's going on here. I'm in my preretirement mode & wondering as I'll be hopefully selling in a few months. Thanks

I read recently in Impact or one of the other local papers that 78745 is currently a good choice for first time homebuyer BUT that it won't stay this way for long. I'm thinking in 8-10 years there will be almost nothing under 200k.
My experience with '45 is that it varies a good bit, sometimes even from block to block.
I can't remember the last murder here but maybe someone else will chime in.

According to APD crime stats (on the city website) there was 1 murder in 78745 in 2006. |
