For all you transplants See's candy just opened a shop next to the HEB at braker lane.

Love, love See's. My favorite big brand chocolate. Loved their stores as a child and as adult. Love the free samples too!

Are you sure it's a "real" See's?

They open up kiosks and/or stores in the malls here in Dallas for the Christmas, Valentine's, and Easter holidays, but they only have the prepackaged candy, not the full selection.

See's is good food.

Yes, I received a flyer in the mail and it said "Hello Austin". It's the same logo as their website and it shows the Braker location on the store locator. Looks like the real deal! I loves me some good chocolate - I will definitely be giving it a try.

Pralines...YUM-OH!!!
https://lammes.com/about_lammes.php

Cool story:

Lammes Candies, now in its second century of candy making, was founded by William Wirt Lamme in 1878. Originally called the Red Front Candy Factory, the store was located in the 800 block of Congress Avenue - the main business street in Austin, Texas. Although William Lamme lost the business in a poker game in 1885, his son, David Turner Lamme, Sr., came to Austin to repay the gambling debt of $800 and reclaim the store as his own.

C'mon Cali folks!!! Try the good stuff!!!

Default Thanks!

Thanks so much for posting this, or who knows how long it would've taken me to find out. I really like Lamme's, but there is no substitute for Sees!!! Both have unique and awesome chocolates and candies.
