Hey everyone my family has been in town and I was just wondering if there was anything free to do in the area (for tomorrow)..3 children (1 girl 7 and 2,boys 11-12 who are very into sports if it matters).

Things we have done..
Mount bonnell
Texas uni
Cowboys stadium tour
Barton springs pool
Canoeing on the Colorado river
Drove around the city
Baylor uni

I'm thinking bats at congress might be one thing (around sunset?)
Anymore ideas for free fun in Austin or the north burbs? Appreciate any advice!

-Austin Children's Museum/ The Thinkery (I think it's less than $10)
-Texas State Capitol
-Bob Bullock Texas State Museum (free on the first Sunday of a month and not very pricey on other days)
-Hike the Turkey Creek Trail in Emma Long Park (especially fun if you have a dog)

Sometimes I don't know why I bother posting here smh. I'm sure your capable of understanding that was an abbreviation for the university of Texas at Austin. So so so so sorry that I didn't write it out to your liking. Good lord. If your not trying to be a smart a$$ then I apologize but it seems in every post someone has to toss around some sort of comment that doesn't relate or help answer the original post.

Absolutely no apology necessary. I was being a smart ass, but it is to be expected in this situation.

might be warm enough during the day to go tubing. It is free if you bring your own tubes and park your car at the end.

These are mostly pickup soccer for adults, but you might find some kids meetups
Pick-up Soccer Meetups near Austin, Texas - Meetup

Here are some meetups in austin (earthday festival this weekend, mount lakeway hike on sunday)
Austin Sierra Club Outings (Austin, TX) - Meetup

here are meetups with kids in the search tag

Somehow vendors are always offering free round rock express tickets, not sure if you can get access to those.

schlitterbahn isnt free but you can always get 50% off somwhere.

For $50/hour you can rent a boat (maybe less since it is low season). We usually go out of emerald point marina. Not sure how much to go on lake austin.

Im not sure what you are saying. Ive never rented a boat on lake austin so I have no idea how much it costs. I have rented a boat on lake travis and I dont remember the exact cost, but it is around 50/hour.
