We use Smith Thompson and they have been really good. They are monitored from the Dallas area. Avoid the big alarm companies such as ADT and Vivint. They will rip you off and make you sign a really long contract.

I use Point Security, used radio promo "Bobby Bones" and got a good deal, Pay just under $43 for cell based monitoring/coverage, mobile app arm/disarm, window sensors, 2 motions. Might even look into adding a camera.
