When you say "share", do you mean the actual space or the building in general. There's a place called MusicLab near me that looks to be that sort of thing. Could be cheesy, I don't really know.

Also, you might want to look into some of those storage facilities. I've known many musicians who have done that. They all have power.

Thanks
I checked it out ,,,and though it is kinda what i mean... Im lookin more for a place that i can leave my gear 24/7 with a flat fee...In Pheonix you would pay about $400 a month for a 40 by 50 foot unit with a bathroom. You could use it 24 hours a day...and play as loud as you want
I hopin to find a place like that down there...If i dont find one i will almost deffinatly open one myself...Its just nice to have no time limit.

Look in the Austin Chronicle. They have a website. I know exactly the type of place you are looking for, as there is one in Houston that I had several friends in bands use. The ads section in the back of the Chronicle would be a great place to start. I'm sure they are on the website as well.

Have you looked into Band Co-op in North Austin? Their number is : 512-339-1276. I used them like 10 years ago, but they are still around. Rooms are yours only, you can lock your stuff in them, but it's in an industrial area (and kind of a bad part of town). Although you can leave your stuff 24/7, I think they open for rehearsals from 5pm til late.

Someone I know used these rehearsal spaces:

Austin Band Rehearsal Room

As I recall, they lease on a month to month basis, and the rates weren't too bad, either. Access was (at the time) 24/7. Location is also convenient.

Good luck!

Austin has a noise ordinance, there is no place in Austin where you can "play as loud as you want". Not even 5 years ago. LOL There are decible restrictions at the property lines.
