Hi! Can anyone recommend a cheap venue that has a pool or some sort of swimming option where I can host a bridal shower? The bride said that all she wants to do is sit by the pool and have drinks with her friends... so I'm trying to accommodate that without breaking the bank. Hotels won't work because there will be 10-15 girls and I can't fit all of them in a room for the "shower" portion of the event (shower portion being eating, cake, open gifts). any ideas will be much appreciated!

I have no idea about cost but Lakeway Resort and Spa could probably provide good accommodations.

Radisson Hotel downtown is another possibility.

Cheapest option would probably be to find a friend who lives in an apartment complex that has a party room next to a pool.

House on the Hill. You can rent the whole place out and they have a nice pool.

There is a nice banquet room/hall where there is plenty of room for a shower.
