When a piece is presented as "a scrupulously researched piece" that "conclusively shows that Austin's race problems ... are very far from over", then goes on to breathlessly report that a cause is the fact that some AISD schools fund raise, most popularly through PTA carnivals - then yes - it does say that.

"Research organizations" present objective research - they don't regurgitate rumors or consistently present one side of a story from special interest groups with known agendas. They conduct systematic investigations, and there is nothing systematic about this. It was biased from the inception of the hypothesis, and there was nothing presented that deviated an iota from that foregone conclusion.

The fact you can't see that calls into question your own objectivity.

The report does not say that AISD school fundraising reflects racial bias. It just doesn't. And you don't actually quote page 9 because you know it doesn't. The conclusion of the report states: "There is no single explanation for the decline in Austin's African-American population between 2000 and 2010."

If you want to have productive discussions about this and other issues, stop insulting other posters and distorting others' views.
