Really great.
Chile Pepper magazine was great when it was still published in ABQ by its founder, Dave DeWitt. Once he sold it, it started going down the tubes FAST.

I do believe it died a final death.

We went, got there just before 4pm. Little to no lines at that point, arriving fashionably late is the way to go.

I spent around $25 on some really good sauces including a pineapple and habanero one.

I went for the first time this year. I was there from about 1230 to 1430. It might have been for a good cause, but the location and the time of year worked against having fun at the event. It felt cooler standing in the parking lot than in the lines for the sauces. The lines were about 15-20 minutes for most booths and there was very little shade. Don't think I'll attend for another couple years

Insider tip.

Go get chips and queso before you go to the line to taste all the entries. While going through line, when you like a sauce load up some of the sauce on the chips and queso. Put about 5 sauces on chips and queso in different spots, bring back to friends.....
