Relocating to the Austin Area
I'm an African-American female relocating to the Austin area. I've been doing some research, and I really like the towns of Cedar Park, Round Rock, and Georgetown. Could anyone tell me how diverse each of these places are? And possibly, some great apartments? My price range is around $700 for a one bedroom.

I'm not sure how diverse as to numbers, but African Americans do live in those areas. Just my sense from living close to Round Rock and Georgetown, I'd say RR is more diverse than the other 2, although Cedar Park and Georgetown are not unfriendly towards African Americans. Actually, Georgetown has a sizeable hispanic population. Round Rock has quite a few nice apartment complexes. Can't speak for Cedar Park or Georgetown, as I really haven't seen any there.

How old are you and what kind of interests do you have?
I think cedar park has relatively large concentrations of minorities, judging by who shops at the stores at lakeline mall etc.
