What's the deal with these new developments like Sweetwater and Serene Hills and their white Christmas lights? Nothing but white lights as far as the eye can see. Is this some stupid HOA rule or are the ppl who move into these communities drones from 1950's? I did see one house with blue lights in Sweetwater last night... Is this guy gonna get fined or does he just have some original thought?...

Haven't seen them, but maybe they like it that way and don't really care if you don't...?

Racist Christmas lights, attack of the pod ppl or dumb HOA's is what I'm thinking...

Probably due to the proliferation of "we hang Xmas" lights services that provide the lights for you. 95% of what they install is white lights.

You're reading way too much into it. I think it's just because white lights are what is most popular right now.

Nah... It's only the high priced cookie cutter neighborhoods... Has to be either HOA's or something weird about upper middle class ppl who prefer big houses on small lots...

Multi colored lights look like crap. Most people choose what looks good.
