Donut 7 on Burnet Road. Best donuts I've ever had. All the other donut chains and even RR Donuts give me terrible indigestion but not Donut 7's. Don't know what makes them so good, but they are!

Very subjective. IMO - haven't found a "great" doughnut in the Austin area yet. Round Rock are best so far. Will continue searching.

Thanks all for the suggestions..and yes I realized shortly after my blunder of using the term "baked". (Oops). I have tried RR Donuts and they were very very good! I wasn't a fan of Shipley, prefer KC Donuts across they way from the Brodie location. Gourdoughs is a a once in a blue moon thing to take visitors to maybe but is very unique experience.
