Default Best Neighborhoods for kids in Lake Travis Area??

We'll be moving to Austin in the next few months and would like to know what the best family-oriented neighborhoods are in the Lake Travis ISD? Our price range is between 800k and 1.1 million. We have three girls (12-10 & 2). Ideally, we would like a newer development. We are also looking for a community with recreation facilities like a pool and planned events for the kids. Any suggestions?

With your price range, is there a specific reason you are looking only in Lake Travis ISD? Have you checked the Eanes ISD areas yet, specifically Senna Hills off of Bee cave?

If you have to live in LTISD, I would recommend, Uplands (Bee cave) and Falconhead (620RR). In Falconhead, I believe you can decent lots in the new phase and have a good selection of builders -- Taylor woodrow, drees, meritage etc.

Good luck.

Default Ltisd

I was told that the LTISD is very good and that's why I was limiting my search to that area. I thought the Eanes ISD was out of my price range. I will check out your suggestions....Thanks !

If you can afford a million dollar home, I doubt Eanes is out of your range I believe you open yourself up for an extensive list of areas, but don't forget about the taxes either.

That will just about get you into anywhere in Austin, although maybe not the biggest or best in a particular area. LT and DS are both very good, Eanes is probably better (by most metrics), but to each their own. You really can't go wrong with any of them.
