You know, I'm usually trying to help answer questions on here but this time I have a question of my own:

Are there any well-known pagan/neopagan groups in the Austin area? I've been studying the various types of pagan religions lately and would like to learn more from a local group. I've seen places that sell many of the books/supplies (such as the Herb Bar in south Austin), so I know they have to be around here somewhere.

Any help is most appreciated

try the unitarian churches. Many have pagan groups that meet there.

Try CMA (Council of the Magickal Arts). Or, as awoogala said, try the Unitarian Church; I believe there's a CUUPS group here.

Default Looking for a place to worship

Hi, my name is Lisa,
My family & I have been practicing pagans for 20 years. But we have never had a place to go & worship . My youngest is starting to ask question about why we do not attend Sunday service like the rest of her friends. I just don't have an answer for her. And to tell you the truth, it would be nice to meet others with the same beliefs that we have. So any info you may have to pass on would be greatly appreciated.

Moderator cut: orphaned

You might want to check out the First Unitarian Church on Grover. Also, the Council for the Magickal Arts (CMA) is a possible resource for you. Also, Thunderhoof's post just above yours has some useful information for someone in your position.

You can also check the website witchvox.......they have pretty good listings for the pagan communities in various states and areas. Tons of information on that site.
