I'm in a somewhat similar situation. The wcad appraised value is lower than our purchase price and bank appraised value. Though tax representation companies somehow find something to challenge..

Five stone tax fka tax tiger austin. Lowered my taxable value every year, though obviously with Travis county values rising, it got harder each year and savings were less.

newbie homeowner questions:

how are bathrooms and half-baths counted?
for example if I have 2 full and 1 half bath, does it show up as
Bathroom 2
Half Bathroom 1?

they have me listed at:
Bathroom 3
Half Bathroom 1

they also appear to have inflated my square footage by 41 sq ft based on a signed appraisal. however the appraised value is higher than the assessed value. is it worth bringing this up?
