It's our fault! We moved here from Florida two years ago and brought the rain and humidity with us! 😉

I wondered if this was all normal! I definitely thought Austin would be much warmer and drier. Guess it's a good thing since no one loves a drought. 👍🏻

The high-pressure in the Caribbean hasn't moved north much, but it has moved so far east we could see another TS pop up in the Caribbean or gulf over the next week or two....

The Bermuda High is very strong now but a bit misplaced to the south and east of where it should be.

High pressure is still over Texas, 1016mb, as evidenced by the dry sunny weather we've been having.

Forecast for today is sunny and 97.

91 and a 60% chance of rain tomorrow due to a cold front.

I've always said it is a tolerable summer if it doesn't hit 100 by July 1. We stand a good chance this year to get to July 1 and it only be over 90 for thirteen of the thirty days in June -- and never over 95.

Amazing weather so far this summer.

And... That has nothing to do with the rain pattern we have been having the last several days... Also did the temps really drop? Didn't notice...

Cold fronts in the summer tend to just bring rain and slightly cooler temps but much more humidity.

When the ridge builds it brings extreme daytime temps but much drier weather and overall more comfortable in the evening.
