Default Cheaper pet deposits if its not a complex?

We're checking out a few areas looking for a better job market. Austin is too expensive so I was checking Cedar Park, Georgetown and noticed pet deposits are pretty pricey if you have 2 of them like us. $150 deposit and another $150 fee Per pet.. and then some also have a per month fee besides. Are there many non-complex rentals? Maybe cheaper pet policies?

I noticed the same thing when we were checking out San Antonio awhile back...maybe its just common policy in Texas. We've lived in a few states and so far Texas is much higher (where we've lived anyway).

Pet deposits are set by the corporate office for most of the complexes that you will find in Austin. You need to look at smaller complexes that could wheel and deal.
