Default costco answered my email

they say no new costco coming anytime soon but they may be trying to keep it quiet for now.

CP is good! we live in may field ranch and there is no big supermarket around. A costco will have no competition. they really should build around.

So, is there going to be one near the RR outlet mall after all or just 1431/183?

I come from a city with a population of 300K, we had 2 Costco's and a third one in another city 1/2 hour south.
I was astounded that there are only 2 here and even more shocked that the S. Austin location is rarely crowded.

Costco just entered the Texas market in 2001 and Price Club never had a presence here either, while those of us from the West Coast had the Price Club/Costco brand in some form since the 70's. I assume that Sam's Club has been here longer and that's one reason why it has more stores or they just expanded more quickly.
