According to the historic record, during the month of May there have only been 5 days that were 100 degrees or higher.

How do I deal with it this time around?

1. Pool. Use it often. 99 degrees heats the water to perfection.
2. Covered Patio with two high-airflow fans.

Dealing with maskeeters however is worse than dealing with heat.
You notice mosquitoes are now pretty much gone huh?

I've acclimated just fine to the Texas heat. Every winter I thank God I don't have to shovel snow, and that thought alone gets me through every summer. Our A/C continues to work and the earth continues to spin.
