Anyone out there living in the Four Points area have any thoughts on The Preserve at Four Points? We're relocating next Spring. Budget ~600k, could do a little more. Commute will be to Cedar Park Medical Center. Trying to stay in the in an area zoned for VHS. Looks like there's access from this neighborhood to 620 north of 2222 intersection. Would that help the commute any?

I think this is all new construction by Standard Pacific. Not being from Austin not sure about their reputation and quality of build. Any opinions on that.

Thanks in advance! You guys are always really helpful.

It's at 183/1431. Google says 20-28 mins at 7:30 AM. But I know Google is often not right.

Notice the lack of easy access to 183A northbound from 620...THAT could add 10-15 minutes, depending on the lights and traffic. Would be great to have a ramp from 620 eastbound to 183A northbound. That is one sad area in any rush hour

Have you considered Crystal Falls or Travisso? Either would be +-7 miles from the Medical Center...both have new construction...Crystal Falls has some homes that would be closer to 10 years old, so not ALL new neighborhoods. Travisso is very new, plenty of current construction.

We've looked at both Crystal Falls and Travisso but trying to stay in VHS school zone.

Got it...I breezed over that one since we have no kiddos.

Thanks for the heads up on the lack of easy access to 183 from 620 Northbound. Had not noticed that at all. So I guess you just have to drive north on the frontage road until you can get on 183? Is that how it works?

OP, I live off 620 and noticed a new development that Taylor Morrison is building called Montebello which will feed into Vandergrift. It is closer to 183 than Four Points, and they say their homes will start in the 400's.

They haven't built a model home yet, but supposed to this fall I think. Looks like the roads are in.

We looked at a Taylor Morrison model out in Travisso and were impressed.

As far as getting to 183/1431, I avoid 183 especially during rush hour. I take Anderson Mill Road north from 620, then head east on 1431. Like it much better than the 183 mess.

Thanks! I just checked that TM development out online. It looks pretty good at first glance. Any idea rough drive time up to Cedar Park Med Center via Anderson Mill around 7:30 AM, as opposed to 183?
