And it's perfectly OK (in this thread) to list the superior one you had in Jersey or Rhode Island (or wherever)....but only after you list a decent local meatball. Hey, we know we're second tier when it comes to family Italian joints, but a guy's gotta eat.

Bonus points if you include a pic.

Tucci's Southside Subs in Oak Hill makes a pretty good meatball sammich.

I definitely appreciated the list of new Italian joints in the sky-is-falling thread. We could use more of that around here!

I didn't know there was more than one Tucci's. I guess you learn something new everyday. I've never had their meatball sub though.

The best meatball sub in this town was Hog Island Deli. So pissed they had to close.
