You need an apartment locator! They are free to you and are legit. They can be a big help.

78759 is in a nice area of town. There's a mix of older and newer apartments so you should be able to find something in that price range. Also look in the two adjacent zip codes slightly north of 78759 - 78729 and 78750. Also nice areas and opens up your options. I live in 78729 and work in 78759 - 3.5 miles away.

You should also enlist the aid of an apartment locator service - they are free to you. Give them your criteria such as wood floors, pet friendly, etc. and they can help narrow down the options for you.

Apartments for Rent - PadMapper Apartment Search for Oodle, PadLister, Airbnb, Kijiji, and other Apartments can be a real useful tool, its a map based apartment locator that allows you to input the cost and size you are looking for.

I believe all of that zip code is pretty safe, you can compare parts of it with this color coded crime map. Trulia Local - Visual analysis of local data

Keep in mind that anyplace with large parking lots such as apartments and shopping centers usually has a lot of petty thefts and burglary of automobiles.

Can you be more specific? Are you looking for the names of apartment complexes or an area? Most of us here don't live in apartments - as mentioned before, the apartment locators can help you with that.

If you're looking for a specific area within 78759 or surrounding area, you'll need to tell us approximately where you'll be working. If you're going to be in the tech corridor off Riata/Parmer Lane, look at the Riata complex.

I will be working at 78759. I know that is a nice area. And, because i am new in this city, i have to first be around my work area to get to know better.

There is really no unsafe area in 78759.
There are some apartments between pavilion park and ride.
that might match your criterion.
