SW is nice and affordable. If you search for "Circle C", you'll see lots of people recommend it for families. We personally have been looking at Shady Hollow which is just east of Circle C.

I think maybe they meant the "Four Points" area, which is basically 2222 & 620, there is a road that links the two called Four Points... and there are shopping centers, office buildings, etc there.

atxcio is right - 4 Corners is actually Four Points. It is known to encompass the neighborhoods of Steiner, River Place and connecting neighborhoods, and Grandview Hills. It is sort of anchored by the corner of 620 and 2222.There's not that much there right now - an HEB/strip mall and a Target - but they are building a large development called Four Points Centre which is primarily a ton of office space, a hotel and then another little bit of retail. It is directly across from the existing 3M building on a small "back" road.
Calling the area Four Points is kind of nice because it acknowledges those of us who don't live in Steiner but do live in the immediate area. A lot of folks don't realize that there's more around here than just Steiner!
HTH!

We were looking at a house with a pool when we moved here in '03, and our 3 year old at the time found a chlorine tablet when we were looking at the backyard. You know, all it takes is a second or two. She put it in her mouth before I could get to her. Luckily we were 5 minutes away from Round Rock emergency. She got an insignificant amount in her mouth because it was old, so she was OK. Needless to say, we didn't buy that house, and crossed ALL the pool houses off of our list.
By the way, Steiner Ranch has 3 amenity centers, all with large pools, multiple pools even. Even though you didn't ask, the swim team is pretty active and there is a process working its way through the HOA that will include adding heating to the pool in the Bella Mar CC for winter hours heating. The swim team will pay for the gas, but two lanes will remain open for residents to use as well. I believe the swim team did very well this year.
We walk to one of the CCs, but because Bella Mar CC is so nice, we do a 5 minutes drive there at least 3 times a week during reasonable temps to swim. I attached a photo of Bella Mar.

Thanks a lot!!! Where is this place? Which neighborhood? Is this in Round Rock? My kids love swimming and that's the reason we are looking at pool house. But community pool will do if it is not too crowded.

koalabebe - there are many subdivisions in the greater Austin area with community pools and lots of amenities. For those rare subdivisions now that don't have pools, most areas have a great YMCA presence as well.
Your search will be narrower if you are only focused on homes with pools, but they are out there to find! Personally we love having our own pool, but we came from a state (AZ) where 50-75% of the homes in any given neighborhood had pools, so we were coming with certain expectations. I truly believe our 4 year old would never be the swimmer he is without having had a pool in our yard v. a community pool. That being said, our 2.5 year old can't swim yet, so maybe it was a function of the # of kids we were trying to manage In any event, we don't regret having our pool and probably wouldn't live in another home that didn't have its own pool unless there was some other significant upside (like killer views or being on the lake or something ridiculous we can't afford anyway!)
