CHILD KIDNAPPED.

Authorities have issued an Amber Alert for a 5-year-old boy who they said was kidnapped from his home in the 11800 block Shropshire Boulevard in Northeast Austin.

Police said Adrian Jaimes was abducted about 7:45 a.m. by three men in their late teens driving a grey Volkswagen Jetta with dark tinted windows. They left eastbound on Shropshire.

Police spokesman Joe Munoz said that at 7:40 a.m., the boy’s older sister went outside to start the family’s Jeep Cherokee. Moments later, the boy came outside with his mother and got in the car. Munoz said his mother was in the driver’s seat, his sister in the front passenger seat, and the boy was in the back seat.

Police say the men then pulled up in the Jetta. Munoz said one of the suspects stayed in the car and two others got out, one of whom opened the door to the Jeep and pulled the boy out.

Munoz said the boy struggled to get away and that the mother ran after the Jetta, but was unable to stop the car or open its locked doors.

Munoz said police think the child is in imminent danger. “We’re looking at every lead we are getting,” he said. “We are going to look at every angle we come up with.”

Police said they don’t believe the family knew the suspects.
The boy is described as 4 feet tall, 50 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, wearing a green jacket, black T-shirt and dark blue pants.

People are asked to call the homicide tip line at 477-3588 if they have information.
Under state guidelines, an Amber Alert may be issued if a child is 17 years old or younger, investigators think the child has been abducted and is in immediate danger, and if they think the public could help locate the child.

Police: Austin child who was kidnapped earlier found unharmed

Police officials said the boy walked up to a home on Fairfield Drive in North Austin at about 8:30 p.m. A resident began talking to him and realized that it was Adrian. No arrests have been made. A news conference is scheduled for 10 p.m. Earlier: Police: Amber Alert issued for Austin child

He has been located!
Apparently the kidnappers got scared from all the media and let him off on the street just a little while ago.
He was jeld for 14 hours aprox! Safe at home now.

I just got done watching that moved TRADE, then when I saw this Amber Alert I was like oh no!!

This entire thing is just bizarre and scary. I am so glad the liitle boy was found safe. Phew!
