I live in Cedar Park. I am trying to determine if i need to install a water softener. So far, i have been using the water as supplied by the city. There are some articles on the internet about acceptable level of contaminants in water to prevent damage to pipes and water heater. How/where do i find out the level of contaminants in the water supplied to my house and the acceptable levels?
