Beautiful area, some amazing views. Very good schools. Very nice Country Club (Golf & Tennis). Some nice hiking trails & pocket parks.
Some have complained about a Nazi-like HOA (but maybe that's one reason it's so nice in there). Also, unlike Steiner, no community pools. (you either need to have one or join the club)
Commute to downtown would be awful to very awful (& will get worse). But it's 15-20 min. shorter than Steiner.
I was very close to buying in there 9 years ago. I often wish that I had.

Agree on the schools but have you looked at neighborhoods that feed into Anderson? It has a well-regarded IB program

I saw some areas going to Anderson but there is no nice community as such. Can you please specify which area to look? Also there is IB program in Vandegrift HS too.

maybe look at great hills then. The commute is not bad to downtown. Some of great hills feeds to anderson, some feeds to westwood.

How long have you lived in Steiner? Because honestly, if you live in Steiner, you should already know a lot about River Place as they are neighboring developments and are zoned to the same high school.

I moved from Ny 6 months back and renting in Steiner. I don't know anyone living in River place or anyone going to River place elementary or four points middle school. I want to know how is school, neighbourhood etc
