We just went thru there today looking at homes but we wer e looking at the Perry homes out there. Good size homes, going to be a big subdivision nice looking. I know a couple of folks that moved from there back into town cause it turned out to be to far of a drive for them and had to take a loss on selling cause the builder is still building new homes.

This was about 2 years ago and I haven't heard anything since, but they were planning to build a section 8 apartment complex in front of Vista Ridge and I know that really upset some homeowners because they were concerned about depreciating home values.

Are you talking about "Lakeline Apartments", which is off of Lakeline Blvd, which is almost cross the street from Running Brushy Middle School?

If so, those apartments been there for over 4 years and they are section8 apartments, but I know from the outside they don't look bad. But from one of my son's friends on the football team, their dad used to live there and he comment that it was pretty bad and Leander police dept visit there constantly. Kind of sucks, but people have to live somewhere, so why not slap some section8 apartments right across the street from some 300K homes. Great planning to the home developers @ Highland s @ Crystal Falls.

Don't you mean "slap some 300K homes across the street from section 8 apartments"? Does your son play for the Lions? They're doing pretty good!
