Ok, I realize this is Texas and all but really? Last week one of those double bladed helicopters hovered over about two houses down for a good long while. JUST over the rooftop, big searchlight. No, I wasn't seeing things...l called the entire family outside to witness to which they responded after seeing...GET BACK INSIDE!

THEN today I walk outside and see a huge silver, shiny thing in the sky...waaaay up there but I'm mesmerized because it appears it's hovering quite still. Ok..weird. Then it zooms, and I do mean zooms away, comes back around and I see it's a drone. I'm leaving for town and as I'm driving I see a kid in the street controlling the thing.

We are familiar with flying RC planes. We had to register, get a card to fly, go to designated area, et cetera...you know, be legal and all. This thing was flying willy-nilly all over the subdivision. WTH? And this was NOT a small drone.

If someone loses control of this thing it COULD kill someone...easily.

Hutto, now the land of excitement.

Yea, if the police helicopter is hovering outside of your house, that means they are probably looking for a suspect from a crime. You should probably stay inside, haha. APD's Facebook page keeps up with what the helicopter is doing and what it is looking for.

Their facebook page never explains why their helicopter buzzes my neighborhood late every night. Wish they would knock it the hell off.
