The temperature dropped from the low 80's yesterday to ~31 this morning (supposed to be mid 20s tonight). Two co-workers had their chipped windshields turn into cracked windshields overnight.

Oh, great, can't wait to see my already-cracked windshield this morning!

"News 8 Austin" reported that we were at 77 degrees just after midnight, so that will show up as the official "high" for today. Dropped to 32 by 7 AM with a wind chill in the low 20s. Fairly impressive, though still nothing like living on the front range of the northern Rockies. Places like Rapid City would laugh at our miserable little 45 degree temperature drop, that translates to a slight adjustment on the thermostat for them

Yes, it's already in the upper 60s at 1 PM, it's pure torture with these clear skies and clean air.... why do I live in this hole? I could be spending 2 hours just trying to get out of my driveway in upstate Michigan.... WHY, Lord, WHY ME?

That's known as the Yankee workout. Now, see, if we could get buried in snow around here a little more regularly, then maybe Texas cities wouldn't make the top fattest cities. We all spend too much time drinkin' beer, eatin' nachos, and hangin' out in the sun. We should follow the Yankee example and live somewhere where we're too d** cold to eat.
