Didn't really think about that, but you could be right. I guess the whole getting ready for "work" ritual right out in the parking lot threw me off. It seemed so blatant.

There are tons of people living in their vehicles all over the greater Austin metro area. A lot of people would be shocked at how many -- and how under the radar they keep themselves. Many have jobs. They have access to showers thanks to gym memberships. They look like "normal" people. It cracks me up when people like the obsessed OP thinks his remote burb is immune to homelessness. They are all over the place up there, they just don't look the way he thinks they should. There are even homeless shelters up his way. But he remains obsessed with the homeless population of a city he doesn't reside in.
