Default White Wood Blinds

Is it boring to do white wood blinds throughout. I figure that it is good for resale to do something neutral. Any thoughts or other ideas. Thanks.

Rae' is on a distinguished road
I got the faux white wood, although I love shutters and brown wood blinds, but shutters were too $$$ and we had white trim and window seals, so white blinds it was.
Looking back, I wish I had planned my window treatments beforehand, because I kind of wish we hadn't done them throughout. I love the bamboo options and different curtain and draperies you can do, and it kind of eliminates the need for the blinds. So I would consider what kind of decor you will be using for each room.
I do think it's probably a good investment though down in Meridian, as I bet you will find most homes will have them.

We went white with the exception of the master bedroom and bath. Blinds can be very personal and if someone does not like the blinds it can be a real turn off. I personally think I would stay neutral in most areas. If someone does not like the blinds in our master suite is is only 6 blinds and I don't think it would be a deal killer if we decided to sell. If they did not like the whole house it would be another 22 blinds and that might be a problem. I think everyone can live with white, it is easy to decorate around. At least that is what my wife tells me.

I think most people nowadays prefer a more organic style. Warm natural-looking wood (not white). I prefer wood blinds because the dust shows up a lot less. White just seems so stark. I know it's neutral, but I think most people consider natural wood neutral. Just as long as it's not extremely dark (like a mahogany finish) or really pale bleached wood (hello 1990!) I guess a lot of it really depends on your budget and how long you're hoping to stay in your house.

Depends on the decor and style of your home. Faux wood color or white are the safest, most common colors. I prefer the darker wood personally. I think it's a "richer" color and less plain than white. But white certainly works will almost anywhere.
