Anybody know of any great lake areas where there are rentals for boating and other outdoor activities??? We are coming back in July (I'm from there yes I know it will be hot, grew up there my whole life, not a problem) an would like to rent a place Travis, Canyon, Buchanan etc. Any help or experiences would be appreciated. Yes, that would be a great site. Someone I know rented a house on Travis from that. They've also rented on Buchanan.

Some ideas
There are several houses in Lago Vista and Point Venture for rent. Waterfront, of course, some with boat docks. In Point Venture there are condo's that host loads of vacationers year round. Also google The Island on Lake Travis for rental condo units, complete with 2 swimming pools and tennis courts onsite. Great location for a lake vacation. i agree vrbo.com is a great place to search for rentals, but also google lago vista vacation rentals and that should bring up some places. Go to the Lago Vista Chamber of Commerce site too. They have a business directory with some management companies listed there. Have fun!
