Any recommendations for a place to get new pads (and possibly discs turned, if needed)? Just looking for reasonable, or possibly just places to avoid for some reason....

For anything really simple I'd go to Manchaca Service Center (on Manchaca pretty far south), for anything beyond the basics I go to Austin Auto Repair out on 290.

Isn't "Don" in that biz? He would have knowledge of someone if his shop doesn't do that work. Haven't seen a post from him in a while, though.

Ended up going to Kwik Kar at Brodie and Wm Cannon. Seemed a reasonable price, much nicer than average waiting area, and....right next to Culver's.....
