I don't know everything, I just don't like your nasty attitude.

And I have plenty of men available to me. I'm not worried about men though.

But actually, since someone mentioned it, I checked out one of the sticky's in this section, and guess what the largest age demographic was in Austin? Mine.

Actually. Second half of this is off. If she’s even remotely attractive and socially adept, she’ll be in a good spot.

But. Yeah. Round rock apts ain’t the towers on Rainey.

Hey. Since you're familiar with the bay area. A drive from Santa Rosa (yes were all the houses burned up a couple of months ago) to Petaluma is 27 mins with no traffic. I can do that with or without traffic, it's no big deal to me. Being from L.A. this isn't so bad. What would a drive from Austin proper (assuming I even work there) to Round Rock be like? Map says it's 22 mins without traffic.

It took me 45 minutes to get from wells branch (just south of RR) to an exit just north of the 35 split which is considered downtown to most people. I left the house at about 7:15 to be at work at 8. I have since moved five minutes from work. The drive was 11miles.

It took you 45 mins to go 11 miles???? Wow.

It used to take me a hour to go 2 miles in LA. Can you believe that? lol

Currently, my commute is 40 mins each way, but it's more miles than 11.

DT Round Rock to exiting 35 at DKR is about an hour. That said, your best bet would to be look in Wells Branch

the climate is very manic depressive in Austin and Texas in general and its def not moderate by any stretch of the imagination.

Yes. Austin traffic is crappy. Add another twenty minutes if you need to get past the 35 split as described by the poster above me.

I would try to avoid any commute that required I35. I try to not even take I35 on weekends. I would take a mopac to downtown commute any day.

In round rock near exit 53 it seems like it is always backed up.
