Maybe 12 miles to downtown. From 71/95 (Bastrop) to post office(Smithville) including parking: 13 minutes. So after talking to my wife, I was indeed off by a few minutes, but not much.

thanks for the response.
Those Tahitian Village streets are just too crazy. First, how do the folks in the neighborhood learn to pronounce them....2nd, spell them correctly and finally.....why???? do the names have to be so convulted for a little town in Texas??
Just have to laugh at them.
Do you live in Smithville?? how long?? If so, what do you like about it??
