Originally from the Phoenix area, I've studied for four years at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. After this winter, I think I'm ready for some sunshine and that flavor of the southwest that I grew up with. Austin has been on my mind for awhile now, and I'd like to make the move, but with a secure position to go into. I'm looking for an entry-level position in public relations, marketing, or communications. Gonzaga is one of the premier private colleges on the West Coast, so I have garnered some great experience in the communications field already and have built a strong resume. I'm an 'uber' creative person in the mid-20's range and think I would enjoy the city life and artistic offerings that Austin has to offer.

If you have a lead or a connection to any professionals in the professional area of communications, I'd be grateful to network! I'm interested in agency and non-profit settings. Thanks!

Check the University of Texas job board in about a week. There will be a Marketing Specialist position open. Re: nonprofits.

There are none. All the hundreds of students that graduate from UT go off into the city and take the jobs. You will need to look at other cities.

It doesn't matter unless you know people in the area.

This marketing job will be open to outside applicants when it finally gets posted. Anyone can search the UT jobsite at:
