Oh, heck, you sometimes have to look real hard to tell if you're still in Austin or have reached Cedar Park! I'm not all that sure that constitutes "out there".

It's certainly not any more "out there" than Oak Hill., say, or some parts of SW Austin.

That's out there too!

I know that people who live in Central Austin think that they are the end all, be all - but some of us don't have the need or desire to commute all that way through hellish traffic. If you are in North Austin, or even the suburbs - Dripping Springs, Oak Hill, South Austin... it's a serious commute.

Without the toll roads, even "commuting" to Lake Line mall from where I am in Round Rock is "out there" - or Costco at the Arboretum, which pre-toll roads could take me 25-30 mins!!

I love Texas, and have embraced much about the way of life here - but totally am NOT into the drive drive drive for everything, mentality here...
