Is the only place to get your tag renewed in Austin the DMV on Airport?

Thatís where Iíve always gotten my renewed, but I have to be in the North Austin area tomorrow and was wondering if the place in Pflugerville to get your license does tag renewals too.

Anyone know of another tag renewal option in the Austin area? Thanks

Have been to the 'tag office' only twice since moving here 10 years ago. I went this year only because of a computer glitch that wouldn't let me renew online.

Not being contrary; but, why not renew online? New sticker is usually delivered in about 3 days in my experience.

Okay thanks, I just went to HEB...never knew they did tag renewals there, and I’m certainly looking into doing it online next time.

Or, mail in the renewal form you get with the proper paperwork enclosed and check.

I mostly use the mail. I do not quite get how people trust giving their information to a system that collects and stores data to be stolen. I do not want to deal with people anymore than necessary and the mail is great way to limit that exposure.
