Default Spicewood lots - how to shop

I am wondering if someone can give me a rundown of the developments is Spicewood as to their type. For example, some require building with their builders, some its your own builder with timelines, etc. I am looking for a lot where we can pick our own building, where timelines are lax, and where we can have a mostly wild land yard. Is there such a thing?

There was such a thing but I don't know if it exists anymore. I bought a lot in an acreage subdivision. Took a year shopping for a builder and then moved in 3 years after I bought the lot. The only timeline I had to live with was the house had to be built 9 months after construction started which IMO is very reasonable.

I mowed my 6 acres in December. I mow the acre around the house but leave the rest and mow that 2-3 times a year depending on how tall it gets. Right now my property is covered with bluebonnets and pink evening primrose and I love just walking around it in the evenings.

Good luck in your search.
