I'm looking for a company, rather than an individual flying solo with friends , to rip up a wood patio and put down a flagstone patio. I know it might be more expensive than a guy on his own, but I really don't have time to manage him. I want a company I can entrust with those details. Thanks!!!

Do you mind quality work, but from a contractor that doesn't have proof of insurance for his workers? If so, PM me.

It may come to that....it's hard to find a company that will do a smallish residential project!
Thanks!!

ALL - when you do hire, please, please, PLEASE never; EVER pay them anything up front or partial. Tell the contractors that you will pay when it is DONE!!

I hired two stooges to do a flagstone patio in my back yard. I paid them partial and since they got some money, they kind of ignored the job. I call my buddy that recommended these two guys. We headed out to where they lived, and I basically laid it down to them two guys to way it was going to be if they stiffed me.
At the end, it got done. It was not a pretty sight, these guys almost got the %%%% beatin out of them. Oh I was mad and it was not cheap for what I already paid them and I for sure knew they could not ever refund me back

There has been lot's and I mean lot's of bad buisness w/ contractors bailing out of the job when taking some of the funds. Be careful on the one's you choose to do the work.
