I'm not counting my eggs as hatched yet until I hear 100% that he is in Austin. Y'all can go ahead and throw a party, but until I have a confirmation that he's hanging on near the 360 bridge with all the other rich people I'm not saying he lives in Austin.

I'm not necessarily throwing a party, I just heavily doubt he would choose any other site given the nature of his business.

They're strong tech hubs but not strong innovation hubs. Austin seems to be leading TX in that category.

I'm just giving you places he could relocate. I wasn't looking to argue about it. Again, I'll wait until it's confirmed.

Austin has the best QOL among Texas cities, and the geography closest to CA.

I agree overall but I also feel Houston and DFW are very nice and underrated cities. My only real issue with Houston is the flood and mold problems and building all over flood plains.

He doesn't necessarily have to live in any " high tech " city.
With his kind of money he can live in Luckenbach and helicopter in to wherever he needs to go.
BTW, he's just a person, not the Messiah. He's not going to turn your city into the next high tech world destination with his mere presence. Get a grip people.

Well this is a pretty good indicator that he is eyeing Austin:

Elon Musk has moved his private foundation to Austin, Texas — another sign the billionaire may be relocating to the Lone Star State.
