We had very heavy rain and some hail, but no damage. I couldn't sleep through it either. I woke up about 3 or 4 times last night.

You may never get used to it. I still hate the severe storms even after living in Central Texas for 30 years. They totally scare me. I do have a storm cellar though so that helps with some peace of mind.

Interesting hail damage on the east side of town.
It appears either you have 1-3 large hail dents in your car or none at all.
It kinda sounded like it was penny-sized with the occasional golfball, or larger, one thrown in, just to keep you guessing.
The weather prognosticators claim we're good until next week, but the radar is showing some major development SW of San Antone...

I have a friend visiting next week, plan on visiting San Antonio etc.... Let her know about the crazy weather incase she wanted to postpone her visit.
Then I wonder, postpone until when? Sent her an email about the extreme weather a little while ago so we'll see if she still wants to visit.

It only took a year, but I finally got the garage cleaned out to park all of the cars inside.
WooHoo.
Thanks Mother Nature!

Friends in Tarrytown and Pemberton were very hard hit- they swear there were tornados, and their blown out windows were proof of that!

If a tornado touched down, there'd be a lot more damage then blown out windows.
More then likely it was wind damage, from what I remember from the NOAA radio, gusts were possible up to 70mph with that storm.
