I live outside of city limits in Garfield, TX.

I currently cannot get any sort of broadband out here. However, I recently came across a company that offers Wireless Internet. This is not satellite internet, but rather from a tower that looks much like a radio tower.

I am just wondering if any of you rural folks have broadband whichever way or have this company.

I don't and can't use Sprint's 3G or any other form of that. I need a low latency connection.

My husband owned a wireless internet business. He is now retired. But he has not heard of that company. I am technology challenged, but I do know , "some" wireless company's can get you really fast internet. You may have to pay more. We had super fast internet when we lived around the Houston area. We now are up in Hill Country and have wireless. It's really not that slow, but the main problem with most wireless out here is that they don't seem to care much about customer service, and sometimes you wonder if they have a clue to what they're doing. At least some of the providers. I don't know if there are other wireless servers in your area, or if there is only the one. Looks like if there is the one, you don't have much choice. But do check and see if they have a faster package to offer.
