Question Question for moderator: Lost and Found for Austin on This Forum?

I've searched the pets section and a few other places, but can't find anything (even in the classifieds) for lost and found pets. FYI - I posted on craigslist for Austin but am noticing that merchants have absolutely no interest in maintaining an old-fashioned bulletin board to post flyers of this sort. There are other national online sites but I'm thinking that city-data would be a great, specific site for each city. Does the city-data/austin already have something? Thanks.

Btw, I lost my cat.

Your best bet is to put posters up in your neighborhood. You want folks that live next door or down the block knowing you lost a cat.

My posters are already littering the area, although our local grocery stores do not have bulletin boards. Since my cat has been missing for 4 weeks now, he could easily have hitched a ride unwillingly and be on the other side of Austin by now. Trust me, I'm doing everything I can (posters, vets, community emails, local pool club, etc), but thought a communal electronic lost and found for pets would serve all of us as well.

Thanks for the reply though, HappyTexan.
