Give serious consideration to the allergy situation. I never had allergies in my life before I moved to Austin 13 years ago. I now have serious allergy problems despite having taken allergy injections for 10 years (5 years are typically recommended). I thought people with allergies were whiners until I moved here. I'm now becoming allergic to not only the environment (dust, mold, pollen, etc.) but am developing allergies to foods. I'm seriously thinking of moving to Albuquerque as a result! lol

They say everyone here develops allergic reactions after being here a few years and from what I"ve seen that is true. Austin is a truly great city and I really hate to have to leave it, but I'm tired of being sick and tired all the time.

JMHO.

Allergic reactions are related to an individual's immune system, though...not solely the place? Just wondering what else can be done.

My allergies have gotten much better over the years and I've developed no new ones while living in Austin.

I didn't have any allergies my first decade in Austin. Then it hit like a ton of bricks. Now, I give myself 2 shots per week. It's wonderful.
